Dosha Test

To determine your Ayurvedic Dosha, fill out the questionnaire below. Base your choices on what you observe is most consistent over a long period of time, rather than your present state today. Make one choice that best describes yourself. However, feel free to make more than one selection if another equally describes you.  All of the words in any observation need not apply for you make the selection. For example, see below: Observation number 6, Hair – first column: “dry, brittle, scarce”.  As long as one of these applies, make the selection. Please answer all questions for best results.

If you make a mistake, just click the box again to de-select.  After finishing the questionnaire, press the “Get Test Results” button (located bottom of the page) to discover your Doshas. Enter your e-mail to receive a report customized for your Dosha combination. Most of us will have one Dosha predominant followed often by another dosha closely. That set of 2 is your Dosha combination. A few of us will have two Doshas approximately equal and even fewer will have all three Doshas in equal proportion.

After viewing your test results you can read more about each Dosha by visiting the pages for Vata, Pitta and Kapha. You can also select products matched to your Dosha; such as Boswellia for Vata dominant types or Picrorrhiza for Pitta dominant types and so on. Please also look at the lifestyle and dietary suggestions for each Dosha pair because combining herbal therapy with lifestyle, massage and dietary guidelines will yield better health results compared to taking herbs alone.
