Lifestyle Suggestions
Everyone benefits from massage. A frequency of once a week is suggested. Vata types should try a gentler, slow massage with longer strokes such as Swedish massage. Pitta types require, tapping, rolling with medium pressure. Kapha types will do well from a deep tissue massage once in a while using, short, firm strokes other times.
Nature’s Formulary Calming Oil can be applied to the feet, this is particularly beneficial for Vata types. Try this just before bedtime for a calmer sleep.
It can be used as a body oil as well. Add a few drops into the bath prior to soaking. After showering pour a few drops into a wet wash cloth and rub on the body.
